Best Cocoa Oatmeal recommends itself for breakfast at home and at work!

 

It’s delicious, you can take it anywhere, it has cocoa in it and the best part is that preparing this oatmeal probably takes less time than cooking the standard one 😀

The time you save can be very pleasantly used, for example, for a longer sleep!

Ingredients
  • 2 handfuls of oat flakes (~40 g)
  • 1/2 of a medium banana (~60 g)
  • 1 teaspoon of cocoa (~5 g)
  • boiling water ~20 ml
  • 2 tablespoons of plain skyr yogurt (~50 g)
  • 1 teaspoon of low-sugar jam, e.g., cherry (~10 g)
  • 2 fresh strawberries (~30 g)
  • fresh/frozen mango (~30 g)
  • 1 teaspoon of peanut butter (~10 g)

How to make cocoa oatmeal

Pour the flakes into a bowl and cover with a small amount of boiling water (below the surface of the flakes).

Cover with a plate.

In the meantime, mash the banana with a fork, add it to the flakes along with the cocoa, and mix.

Add yogurt, jam, fruit, and butter.

 

And that’s it. Enjoy your meal!

Best oatmeal recipes

Oatmeal with cocoa and banana is a great idea for a breakfast to go.

I usually prepare the oatmeal itself in the evening, transfer it to a jar, and put it in the fridge.

In the morning, I just add my favorite toppings and take it to work 🙂
